When his estranged luchador father was killed by a crooked promoter, Motorcycle Officer Roy Rojas brought him to justice. But when the judges let him walk, Rojas dawned his fathers luchador mask, and went after the killers, not knowing the mask was enchanted and gave him powers. Unable to hide the fact, that an officer of the law was working as a vigilante, headquarters sanctioned Rojas and gave him the persona Crackdown and armed him with equipment and hidden armor to be the shining beacon for law and order. Crackdown still wears his fathers mask.
